Random Facts
These are interesting things (or at least, I think they’re interesting things) about me that I couldn’t quite fit into my mini-autobiography.
- I’ve eaten some pretty nasty food: a worm (a “delicacy” in Botswana, apparently), cow stomach (another “delicacy” I tried in Botswana), monkey meat (a “delicacy” from my stay in the Darien Jungle in Panama), and guinea pig from Peru. Needless to say, I really have this whole “cultural sensitivity” thing down pat.
- Although Supernatural is one of my favourite shows, I always fast forward through the scenes that actually feature the Supernatural in it. I’m way too much of a wimp to see images of Women in White, Wendigos, and freaky creepo demons.
- I drink anywhere from 750ml to 1 litre of organic orange juice a day.
- I know how to get from Ghent to Brugges at 3:00 in the morning, while intoxicated :P.
- Volleyball is pretty much the only sport that I don’t completely suck in.
- I took vocal lessons for eleven years, and trained in Opera for four years, and vocal Jazz for three.
- When I was five years old, I jumped off of my uncle’s car, yelling, “It’s morphin’ time!” because I thought I was the Pink Ranger.
- The only time I was ever hospitalized was when I got ran over by a tuk-tuk driver. Yes, I am hardcore.
- I’m pretty sure I can live off of sushi and beef shawarma for the rest of my life.
