Evaded.org was actually the first domain I’ve ever bought. I first bought it in August 2002, and used it for a few months before I got tired of it and purchase a different domain. Now, six years later, I’ve rescued it from the clutches of spam-filled domain snatchers, and have once again moved in.
I’m kind of excited to have it back, actually. It feels like a homecoming of sorts, even if it’s just at a very minor scale.
I wish I had a far better reason for picking this particular domain name, but honestly, I don’t really have any poignant stories about how I came up with the name Evaded. I don’t remember it too well, but I’m pretty sure I probably just glanced through the Thesaurus for 0.5 seconds and picked the first quasi-poetic sounding word I found. What can I say? I was a pretentious little fourteen year old girl.
Oh, well. At least I didn’t purchase something like benevolentstar.org or hertaintedwings.org or something equally as emotastic, no?
