The perfect boyfriend…

…is someone who:

  • cooks, so I won’t have to. I’d like move past macaroni and cheese for my adult life, thank you.
  • cleans, so I can lounge around on a Saturday morning, instead of vaccuuming and doing the washing.
  • drives a ‘67 Impala, because clearly, real men only drive Metallicars.
  • has a huge coc…oa bean knowledge. Ahem. Because, umm, I like coffee. And stuff.
  • says, “As you wish,” when I tell him to polish my horse’s saddle bring me some water.
  • sings like Michael Buble, and writes pages upon pages of song lyrics that all describes my awesomeness.
  • is Jensen Ackles.

(Oh, and by “perfect boyfriend”, I really meant “perfect harem-boy” :P).

Open wide. No, no, wait - bite down.

You know my orthodontist has me totally hooked in her little fingers when I am willing to subject myself to a long five hour train ride down to Toronto, and ship back out to Ottawa again less than twenty-four hours later.

Ajskdfgsfdsf.

But, dude, she uses pliers, man. And lots of other potentially dangerous tools. In my mouth. So, umm, yes, I’m definitely willing to do whatever she wants.

That, and I get to spend some time with my mom. She’s driving me back tomorrow night, and she’ll be staying in my apartment until Monday, so whoo for Mommy time. Though, I’m not going to lie - I think she’s probably more excited about seeing the fall leaves in Gatineau Park than actually chilling with me :P.

PS. This was, like, my fiftieth train ride, and I still haven’t met my Ethan Hawke look-a-like a la Before Sunrise. Bitter. I’ve met lots of Mormons, who make it a point to covert me, though. Honestly. Do I have a sign on my forehead that says, “Is willing to be shipped out on another planet, and married off to a fifty year old man with four other wives”?

PPS. And on a super late note - what the fudge, Canada? What exactly was the purpose of spending millions of dollars on that election, again? To rearrange the ridings? Maybe redecorate the Parliament colours a tad bit? Great job.

I haz a job.

As of…two minutes ago, I am now once again part of the workforce. Well, officially (as in I’m actually getting taxed this time), anyway. It’s nothing major - just a small retail job at a mall close to my apartment, but steady income = made of WIN. I’m starting tomorrow, so hopefully I won’t cock it up too much.

[I should probably write here more, but the new season of Supernatural just started. So, umm, Livejournal and all its fannishness has pretty much been my BFF. I'll be back...eventually. Or at least when I have something more constructive to say, other than, "ZOMG, Dean Winchester, marry me naooo!" or "Castiel, can I haz you nao, plz?"

And, uh, guh. I think my brain just melted.]
